Hanna tattoo Application and Care
![]()
- Before application, clean the area of body chosen and make it free from all cosmetics that may create a barrier between the dye and your skin.
Keep your body warm to get a darker stain.
- After the surface of Henna paste changes from shine to matte, apply Lemon juice+sugar mixture to get a darker stain and prevent drying up.
- Wrap Henna paste with cotton balls, New Skin (Liquid bandage) or Film dressing, then leave it on your skin for 2-48 hours. The longer you leave on the paste a colour will be darker. In order to develop a darker stain, the paste needs to stay on your skin for at least 8 hours.
** Henna will always leave a stain in the range of Orange-Brown-Reddish Dark Brown. However the exact shades vary. Darkness varies with each person's body chemistry, the area chosen, and the length of time the paste remained in contact with the skin.
- Scrape Henna paste off using fingernails, a paper towel, etc...To remove stubborn residue, put a little vegetable oil (Jojoba, Grape Seed…) and rub gently.
**DO NOT USE WATER !! It can ruin a stain. Apply oil or body lotion to a stain before bathing and swimming to protect it from water and help it to stay longer.
- Depending on aftercare of the stain, the skin type and the body area of application, the satin can last several days to a couple of weeks, then fades away gradually.
Mehndi by VeRi uses 100% natual Henna paste.
